Seventeen Year old Calvin is diagnosed with Schizophrenia when he starts hallucinating about a man-eating tiger. The hallucinations last and Calvin struggles to regain control of his own mind. He does so with one grand, incredibly risky adventure and the description of his battle with his mind and the forces of nature makes for very interesting reading. A tale told sensitively. Calvin agonizes that the loneliest feeling in the world is "the feeling you get when you see somehting no one else can see, or hear something no one else can hear,or believe something no one else can believe." He calls it his "alone" feeling and says he just cannot make anyone else understand.
