Add a CommentHurry Home by Roz Nay is a family drama that will keep the reader on the edge of their seat throughout. Alex Van Ness is a child welfare officer who lives with her boyfriend, Chase, in a resort town at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. All is well in her love life and her job until an unexpected knock at their door. Ruth, Alex’ older sister, has not been seen or heard from for ten years until she appears, pregnant and alone, seeking a place to live. There is an immense secret between the two sisters, one that cannot be divulged to anyone, especially not Chase. Who is the good sister? Who is the bad sister? And what could possibly have happened all those years ago? This is a story of a family in crisis and it is well-told while keeping the reader guessing all along. Highly recommend. Thank you to Simon & Schuster Canada and NetGalley for the e-ARC in exchange for an honest review.
