Read this back in 1997 or so. Was enthralled with it. I still remember the part where the roque wave took her off the boat and then the next one put her back on! This couple didn't ask how....they just DID! A must read for wildlife lover's, and a very interesting take on child rearing! I believe that their daughter has resurrected their sanctuary near Cochrane. This couple was responsible for bringing the swift fox back to the prairies. (and not without hardship)
March 2018....on our "read-out-loud" list for the future.
