Good story, or stories actually, since two were taking place side by side. I read the book in two sittings and found it tough to put down. Ms. Coulter is an excellent writer of escapist fiction. Her heroes are interesting and likeable, her villains complex, and the violence and sexual content isn't egregious.

Catherine Coulter never fails. Another great Savich/Sherlock story.

PARADOX is another great read by Catherine Coulter in her FBI series with Savitch and Sherlock. Several interesting story lines running at once - split personality killer, serial killer (not the same), "haunted" house where two families are killed, a "slow" woman who suddenly becomes quite smart and grown up, an attack on Savitch and Sherlock's son, and so much more. The only thing I don't particularly like is the once-in-a-book-or-so paranormal experience Savitch has a - a bit distracting for me. Otherwise a great book. Enjoy!

Another awesome book in the FBI Thriller series. I love the fact there are two stories going on at the same time, how they intertwine, lots of action, and the paranormal twists. Sherlock and Savich are out to catch the person that attempted to kidnap their son from his bed. In another town, Police Chief Ty Christie is out to find out who was murdered, a murder she witnessed from her deck on the lake. While dredging for the body, many bones were found at the bottom of the lake. Lots of action and new characters - it will be great to read about them in future books hopefully. A deranged mental patient escapee with the likes of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, along with a serial killer on the lose, made for a great read. Cannot wait to read the next in the series.

Hard to believe that this is number 22 in the FBI series by Coulter. One of the better series out there, it gets your attention and interest from the very beginning and never starts until the very last page. Murder, mystery, a little romance and it moves and changes on a dime. Great read and even though it is the 22nd these characters and stories never get old. You will not want to put this down.
