Humans have extended and improved our lives through highly sophisticated and expensive mechanical organs created by a company called The Union. The dark side of these medical breakthroughs is that if you don't pay your bill, The Union sends its highly skilled repo men to take back its property, with no concern for your comfort or survival.

Not for the squemish (like me). I was covering my eyes in several places. Interesting story line though so it kept me watching through the gore. You can count on Jude Law to always offer a good performance.

This movie takes place in the future. You are now able to buy organs if you are in need of one, but the trade-off comes with the price of the organs. If you can’t pay for the organ, repo-men will come for you and take back the organ without regard for your life – even if you die. Ironically, one of the repo-men, Remy, has a heart failure and is in need of a new heart. The company replaces his heart, but Remy no longer wants to repossess organs as he understands how victims must feel. Eventually, he has to get on the run. I found this movie to be fairly interesting and it ends with a sudden twist, both happy and sad at the same time.

Edgy Sci-fi flick touching on some interesting concepts. Cold and cynical....much like our Bio-Tech Industry that has no problem charging $100 thousand per year to extend the life of the terminally ill.

Clever, and a bit graphic...but well done for a non-mainstream movie.

If you don't have something better to do with your time and don't mind a bit of blood and gore you might enjoy it.

Very good concept of a storyline. Worth watching.

spoiler alert:

this movie was pretty good up until you find out that forest caused the defibrillator to malfunction just so jude wouldn't transfer to sales? what?

also the bizarre scene near the end where jude and his love interest have a little moment where they romantically kiss and hold one another while cutting eachother open. again, what?

My love of Forest Whitaker and Liev Schriber, trumps my "take him or leave him" attitude towards Jude Law.I agree with alot of the comments, i swear i've seen this same movie with Arnold Swartzenegger or Tom Cruise. It wasn't original and frankly i didn't find it much entertaining either.

would have been great if it were an original concept. once you see it, you'll think oh, i saw that years ago but it was called xxxxxxxxxxx. but for younger ppl (i'm an 80s kid), i guess they'd love it. would be new to them. watched unrated vr. lots of blood and gore. did not watch theatrical vr. be sure to watch features that show commercials that were playing in background during show. some are pretty funny. :) director's comments are a little cool but not much. it was ok. just sad it wasnt an original concept. that's all.

IF YOU GET SQUEEMISH FROM A LOT OF GORE ... then you may get derailed from the story itself ... but it was an interesting science fiction thriller.
