This rich, exciting, and enchanting tale is the sequel in the fascinating Unicorn Chronicles. Cara Diana Hunter, a 12-year-old girl with a mysterious family tree, is sent on a perilous mission to fetch her ever moving grandmother, the Wanderer, by the lovely unicorn queen, Arabella Skydancer. Her guards and companions on the journey are the stiff but polite Moondancer, Belle, the queen's silent Delver Guard, friendly explorer, Finder, the mischievous monkey-like Squijum, and many more on the way. The delvers, evil monsters who will attack anything living, follow the brave group every step of the way. They must pass through a vast forest, a dragon's lair, underground tunnels, and even the world of Earth to get to the restless Wanderer. But the worst setback of all awaits their arrival in Earth: Cara's ruthless and evil great-grandmother who has pledged herself to the destruction of unicorns and unicorn-loving humans everywhere: Beloved. Can the smart and resourceful Cara resist Beloved's evil attempts to murder unicorns and Cara alike? Find out in this thrillingly wondrous story: Song of the Wanderer! [Series: Unicorn Chronicles #2]
